On behalf of Esri UK, Claudia, Dan, Kurtis and Matthew have entered into the Rusty Rally in aid of The Outward-Bound Trust.

This is an incredible cause raising vital funds to help disadvantaged young people develop new skills, behaviours and experiences through being outdoors. The money we hope to raise in our team will support one entire classroom of young people attend one of their life-changing courses.

The challenge is simple. In a car costing £750, we are trekking through 6 countries in 3 days. Hoping the car makes it to the starting point in Brussels, we'll then navigate our way through Luxembourg, Germany, France, Switzerland and cross the finish line in Lake Maggiore in Italy.

And we already have our car! Since our finish line is the Italian Lakes we thought what better than a hot red (and rather rusty) Alfa Romeo Lasso 159 that we like to call our 'Italian Stallion'. With a little bit of luck and plenty of duck tape, we're hoping we can get it from Aylesbury, UK through the hairpin bends and steep hills of this scenic route and cruise over the finish line in Lake Maggiore, Italy with all 4 wheels and hopefully all 4 members....
